Balancing the telescope

I recently bought a 9x50 RACI finderscope for my Explorer 130p. Finding it hard to balance the scope on my EQ 2 now. Does anyone have any top tips?

you might get away with using a magnet to help, you can then move this to the right point

I always thought that all reflector users with EQ mounts were either contortionists or constantly rotating the OTA in the tube rings to get at the eyepiece. Sureley this will render verrtical balancing a bit redundant for visual use.

I do admit though for imaging it will make a difference

True, but I'm hoping the combination of a magnetised weight and a methodical approach to balancing will do the trick. It's either that or brush up on my limbo skills
