I had one of those many many many years ago. It worked well on the moon, and I split a few double stars with it.

As long as whoever gets it refrains from using the Barlow3x with the 4mm eyepiece, in fact whoever gets it ought to throw the 3x Barlow in the Clyde. Sorry, don't pollute the river. In the nearest skip.

It is a pity when something is far from useless. He could use freecycle if he isn't fussed about the money - I get rid of tonnes of stuff that way. Nice to know it goes to a home (or a dealer!) rather than being thrown out.
