Hi Rob i'm still trying to get to grips with the moon :shock: but thanks for the info on the planets, though it wont stop me trying .

Russ thanks for the offer might take you up on that, i dont know at the moment as i havn't got round to try corel yet, been play with registax, tried the moon again tonight, it brought out the colour more and a bit of detail but i think i need to read the tutorals again, it zoomed in so it is much more magnified

I have processed your latest pic to make it a little sharper i think the focus was a little off or poor seeing nicely framed though i like it

Thanks james, i think the seeing wasn't that good but also my scope isn't driven so i might have been askin a bit much from registax.

Nicely done Al looks like your getting used to it now one thing to note is try not to over process your images thats something i learned the hard way when i started out imaging.

Yes thats where the hair pulling bit comes in, this image i thought had got about as good as it was ever going to get so i left it there, but i have learnt a few things so hopefuly the next batch will be better (crosses fingers)
