QHY5 or QHY5v for guiding

I have had both and the standard isn't as good for planetary. Guiding I couldn't notice any difference what so ever. But if you plan on doing a little planetary I would recommend spending the extra 10

I was in the same boat a while ago and decided that the 5v offered the best compromise between chip size for guiding and frame rate for planetary imaging.

I never regretted my decision for one moment - the camera worked straight out of the box (after installing the driver that is!), I was never stuck for a guide star and it performed really well on lunar images.

The only reason I sold it was to gain more sensitivity with a 618 chipped camera.
