Astronomik CLS Filter?

Just one question, does these types of filters really work? And are they worth the money? Ok, so that's two questions then..

Here's the one I was looking at for my Canon T2i:

The answer to both questions is yes, they are very good at reducing lp in dslr exposures. I found the filter did produce a slight colour cast, buy that was possible to process out in Photoshop.

Two pics, about 20sec exposure from memory. Canon 1000D astro modded, with and without CLS filter. LP mainly old fashioned (orange) sodium lights.

The simple answer is yes, very much so. Even more so for imaging.
