Does anybody else have this problem with Registax?!

It's horrible as it is, James :)

If it hands when you try to load the video my suspicion would be either the video file size or video format is causing the problem. You might try processing it with PIPP or VirtualDub to cut a section out and see how it goes with a shorter bit -- say just 10 or 20 seconds. PIPP should produce avi files that Registax is happy with.

I'd give this a shot - meanwhile I'm uploading the video file onto my website and will post the link shortly so you guys can fiddle with it :)
