yep - film canister with a hole in the end and then use the canister lid to keep the sensor clean when its not in use. But dont forget to take the lid off when you insert it into the focusser, or you'll be fiddling for ages wondering why you cant see an image in sharpcap

A film canister was still too big for mine, I cut it in half from top to bottom, put it in the Barlow and it spring to the size of the hole I marked when it stopped and glued it. It fits perfect now and works very well

Exactly what I did, only my glue melted the webcams casing and has never quite stuck right since! Nothing a bit of gaffatape won't fix tho :)

I thought I would also post this here.

Thought I would add I have a few of these and only one worked straight off on a Windows XP SP3. I noticed that the hardware id was not the same, the one that worked was &MI_02 though the rest of the ID was the same. this fix I think works on Windows 7 and Vista too.

To get the others to work (plug in the xbox that is not working) I had to go to control panel> system> device manager> USB and find the xbox> update driver> no not this time> install from a specific location> don't search I will look for driver> then chose USB composite device and it should install and all be fine.
