Photoshop CS2 for free?

Adobe have a Photoshop CS2 for download on their website and have given the key as well.

Yes, though strictly speaking they're not giving it away for free, or weren't last time I looked. They've put it there to allow existing licence-holders to download and install it because the licence servers for that version have been shut down. That everyone else can also do so is quite an odd arrangement.

As far as I'm concerned they left the lid off the cookie jar and there are cookies in it!!

Yeah, they issued some kind of statement saying they made a boo boo and it's really only for users that already have a valid key. Doesn't say anything on the download site tho.

But putting install files right next to a valid serial? Sounds more like a deliberate mistake to me, and why not. This weeks free CS2 users could be next weeks CS 6 buyers...
