First image taken through scope - m42

Hi all,

First try at imaging anything as just got a dslr for my scope. Naturally M42.

Equip:

Skywatcher 12" flex dob reflector

Canon 60da

Light pollution filter

Fixed mount with no goto or motors, as no tracking so could only take 0.6s exposures and stacked x19 for total of 12seconds.

processing - photoshop

Processed during lunch break so pretty rushed and blew out the core. Pretty happy for a first start with only 12s though.

Not sure how to progress until i find a way to either mount the beast, or get a different scope. all feedback on image much appreciated.

Thought I may as well put this up as well. Taken same night as m42, through cloud. 2 images at diff exposure and merged so full moon visible..

Good shots. Amazing how much more the camera can see than our eyes.
