The valley is approx 80 miles long and 6 miles across at its widest and really gives a feel for the level of scale you can get down to with an amateur scope both visually and with a webcam. The seeing was pretty good but the Moon was pretty low for a close up shot...thats my excuse anyway !! That image was taken with a 23a red filter to try and improve things a bit (cut out the longer wavelengths) , I think it worked...that image is a lot better than the ones I got without the filter.
