Ihi I have got an az goto mount I have watched the videos on youtube and read the manual that came with it but nowhere does it show you how to put a negative longditude in to the hand set mine is -1deg does it matter about the - mark or is that inportant hope you can help

Whats the nearest city/town to you?

Enter the coordinates of the nearest big town/city and you should be ok. Otherwise zoom in to your location on Google Earth and enter those coordinates.

To put a negative in, do you not change the letter on the end (negative would be W as opposed to positive which would be E) after the longitude as per the EQ?

Maybe add 360 degrees. Is there an east/west option?
