Filters

Hi,

I'm wondering whether or not to buy some filters, primarily aimed at observing nebulae and galaxies. There seems to be a few available. I've found:

• UHC Filters
  
• Light Pollution Filters
  
• H-Beta Filters
  
• O-III Narrowband Filters
  

Can anyone give me some advice on where to start? Or do I just need to try all of these?

I have just started looking into getting a couple of filters. I am sorry I can not really offer you the advice you need as up to now I have not bothered with them.

If you fancy a bit of reading I have been reading this..

I am though going to buy a Castell Olll I have read on this forum they are great at £45 or so.

I bought the Castell UHC filter to use with my 200 after reading reviews online and on this forum

I would go with a UHC for nebula, a little more forgiving the OIIIbin an 8 inch scope
