M31 Globular Clusters anyone?

Folks, Anyone imaged these at all like here?

For that matter, anyone done globulars around any distance galaxy? Like M81 or even M87?

I'd image a long FL scope would be required to get "close up" ? A SCT or RC ?

Rebooting this thread.

Looking at these photos - like the one David posted - how do they know they are globulars? They just look like stars in our own galaxy. Are they looking for red and blue shift of the spectrum?
