M31 Globular Clusters anyone?

Folks, Anyone imaged these at all like here?

For that matter, anyone done globulars around any distance galaxy? Like M81 or even M87?

I'd image a long FL scope would be required to get "close up" ? A SCT or RC ?

Myself and fellow Liverpool A.S member, Rob Johnson had a go through our societies Meade 12" f6.3 SCT back in October 2006. Made an interesting project.

Saw one recentlyof the Sombraro M104 too. Lots of globulars floating about it.

Rebooting this thread.

Looking at these photos - like the one David posted - how do they know they are globulars? They just look like stars in our own galaxy. Are they looking for red and blue shift of the spectrum?
