Sherwoods Photographiuc do the EvoStar 90 on an EQ2 mount for £135.

Scope is good, mount not so good.

Cannot see the ST80 on an Alt/Az mount, the ST80 on an EQ1 is £125.

There are a couple of 70mm skywatchers at £85 and £105.

All the above are refractors.

There is the Skywatcher 1145P reflector at £120

At that price bracket I would suggest a good quality pair of Bak-4 Porro Prism binoculars, either 10x50 or 8x42. I like my Bushnell Legends, they were about £135 I think but can be had cheaper now. Try to get fully multi-coated, these should give brighter and sharper views.

For £100 you could afford these Celestron Nature 10x50 bins with a tripod adaptor which really helps for nice steady views. Get the large adaptor as it will be steadier.

Telescope-wise, the ST80 is a solid little scope for £125, but if it's your only scope then you may be left wanting more quite soon. The tripod is a bit flimsy.
