qhy8l gain and offset

I Hi all,

I have just bought a qhy8l and would like to know what sort of gain and offset settings other owners have. I have read on previous threads that people have the gain around 14 and offset around 120. I would like to know if anyone has any different settings, and the wether it is critical to have them set precisely?

mine came out at 5 and 121, read the manual on how to find the settings your camera needs, its a quick and easy set up.

You should also consider setting your gain & offset with any LP filters you are using. This can make a difference to the settings.
