Bit of a Strange Horsehead

This is a Bi-Colour image of IC434,its created by just using H-Alpha,and Oxy111 Filters.

To be honest it has,nt really worked well, but hey!!

12x600 sec H-Alpha.

18x600 sec Oxy111

OIII mapped to both the Green, and Red Channels.

Colour is very subjective, and the Star is well over exposed.

Thankyou everyone,i appreciate the comments as always.I was,nt sure what you would make of it,i think the next clear night i will add S11 data,to get a true Hubble Pallette.

When you first merge these H-Alpha/Ox111 you get quite an intense Red colour, bit similar to the norm, but with the H-Alpha dominating, but by altering the Hue and selective colouring to the different layers, within the RGB channels, you can experiment a bit.

Regards.

Mick.
