Hi Folks, Contemplating my first attempt at imaging...so....considering a used Canon eos 400/450d dslr to buy so please what is involved/how to mod one of these cameras ! Ta all.Rob

You can buy a modded 450D for not a great deal of money and save yourself the stress, unless you are good at doing fiddly stuff.

Thanks both for that "You can buy a modded 450D for not a great deal of money" can you point me in the direction where i can pick one up.Looked at a few on Ebay but not modded !

First attempts at imaging using A FLASHED Toucam pro all seems ok on Tal 100s but focusing diffs using the Tal 150k .So is it a case of using a focal reducer ? Ta both.

Not what I would call cheap though - that's a good proportion of what a dedicated CCD camera would cost. IMO your better waiting for one to come up on ABS - just search on "canon" here:
