The swedish astronomy society monthly paper recently made an article about remote control observatories.

Basicly its an observatory dome located at the guys summer house. He can control everything over the internet, including opening of the dome. IIRC he used EQmod to control the CPC wich is the main instrument, and he has some extra webcams located to be able to monitor the environment and situation in the dome.
