Here are the rest from yesterday taken with the Ha PST, my hubby performed the surgery on my PST and now I can get it on band easily again after a year of struggling at the bump stop (I supervised of course) :)

Today, I had an ISS transit at 12:53. I made a special effort and set up the refractor in the bushes between the fence and conservatory (it just fit). It was sunny up until 2 minutes before when this happened :(

But an hour later I managed a full disc (about 12 panels joined together) but the Sun was almost in the bamboo bush :(

Thanks for looking and sharing with my disappointment, I'm still smiling honest!

With the single stack I found last year that the system seemed to have shifted and the centreline of Ha seemed to be past the stop where I could no longer turn. Not knowing what to do with a screw driver I ignored this, but this year it was even worse. I panic when faced with a problem like this but luckily the hubby understood it immediately and fixed it in 5 minutes. He moved the screw into a different hole and now I can turn the etalon tuner further round. God bless husbands :)

Yes and no, it seemed to improve things a little, but the main difference is not screwing the double stack all the way on, I have it at 180 degrees from fully on and secured with masking tape and viola the ghost is gone :) but the blur and double image is still present sadly, it can be seen clearly at the eastern side, so no cure for that yet :(
