Just got all set up for my first solar imaging session since 14th October and as soon as I was ready the biggest cloud this side of Jupiter rolled in over the Sun

Have to see if it shifts before the sun is behind the trees now.

Well, I abandoned the attempt when the cloud started to darken. Just got everything inside but for the EQ3-2 when the heavens opened and we had a fearsome hailstorm. The forecast is for more cloud and rain this afternoon and tonight so yes, it might well be clear

Got a chance for 1 worthwhile capture on 1608-1612.

And every time i've setup for a live broadcast the clouds have gotten thicker.
