Not the best time to be imaging , just after teatime and just before the whizz-bang crowd came out to play . . .

But it was clear and dark so I had to be out there . . .

Only got off 10 x 300 before a bank of cloud drifted past , when it cleared I'd lost the chance to add more due to trees . . . .

Picked this as it's similar to the dark neb round the Cocoon so I knew I'd get something . . .

1000D + ED80 Pro + F/F , 10 x 300s @ ISO 800.

Right , I'm off to find a new target . . . . before Mr Blobby arrives . . .

Good job Steve, these dark nebulae are really difficult under UK skies, and nigh impossible on bonfire night I should think!!
