IC5070 pelican nebula and m31 reprocessed

ED80and ST80 on heq5 guided,taken with canon 1000d modded and 0.85 reducer/flattner .IC5070 is 24x4m subs darks,flats and bias.Processed with pixinsight.M31 is reprocessed as it was pointed out to me the colour was a mile out,hope this is better.

I like that Pelican. Soft and fluffy clouds, as clouds often are, and not chiselled out of granite ( I'm a bit guilty of that ) Nice stars too. Not obtrusive and yet all seem to be there ok

One thing of note, you've got what looks to be a diffraction spike on the brighter stars. Is there anything intruding on the light path ?

Thanks very much im pleased with the pelican.Noticed the diffraction spike myself not a clue how they appeared.Really enjoying my dslr,hope i get plenty more images.
