Finally some clear skies for Hertfordshire!

Happy, happy, happy!

Okay the moon was up and very bright but crystal clear. Finally managed to bag M2 but no detail due to the Moon and LP but bagged just the same!

Only gripe was the neighbours coal fire smoking across my view.

Its not too bad a night given the moon, just been on jupiter 216x its holding it well, one moon grazing edge good banding and turbulance. not as good as at psp when 400x was easily held. but a good view all the same.

Yep Jupiter is looking mighty fine at the moment . Nice to see stars for a change

Had a look at earlier but there was some high cloud and it was windy (terrible with the EQ2) so had to leave it for tonight

Yeah clearish skies in Oxfordshire too.

Finally giving the new Atik 460 a run out. Had to be narrowband coz of the moon but banging in some Ha, OIII and SII subs of the Witches Broom - hoping I'll get enough data to make a half decent image in one night coz it's cloud for the rest of the week...
