What to do what to do

Recommended Posts

Dob is 3months old. And no clue of o need a tal lol

I think both scopes within their price range are excellent in the superlative and both - within reason - are more or less the same price. The Tal 100rs is around 250, the 200 dob is around 290. With that said, they're quite different instruments and to compare them would be like comparing chalk with the proverbial cheese. If you're wanting to sell the dob but have no inkling or desire to own a decent achro-frac, I think it's a bit of a no brainer. Sell your scope and get something you do fancy

So you now have a 200p on an EQ5 mount, and a standard 200p Dob????????

One has to be sold to pay for the other.............

Tal scopes are apparently well liked.

You can never have too many scopes and a TAL would be something to have (and a bit of cash in hand) whilst paying for the new 200p on an EQ mount.
