Subscribe to S@N and PA. S@N for the broader articles and sky charts. PA for the imaging stuff, in depth reviews and sky charts. They usually have different things on their object lists so you can get a good list of objects to go for.

I'll buy AN regularly, although just having had a run in with S@N, I might well be switching allegiance!! I've tried since July to get them to run an article for our societies 20th anniversary this weekend. Their response has been pitiful - even with the editor. And they're supposed be promoting amateur astronomy. God knows where we'd be if they were against it!!!!!
