Inaugural meeting of the Central Midlands Stargazers 20 Oct 2012

The Central Midlands Stargazers have been meeting informerly since February; we are now holding our inaugural meeting to become an official Astro Society on 20th October 7.30pm at the Bell Inn Husbands Bosworth (Leics). The venue is not far from our dark site and weather permitting we will be holding an observing session following the meeting.

Hiya - Bit of a fluke with the name

I realise the thread is out of date. However, I have been bitten very deeply by the astronomy bug and I am keen to meet up with similar minded people in my area.

I am interested in joining an astronomy group and was wondering do you have any further meetings planned? If so would I be welcome to come along?
