What power setup

Hi

I have a celestron cpc gps 800 and I have recently put it into a personal obs that I have built.

I would like to get a dew heater tape for the corrector and associated controller and I would also like to change from using a rechargeable powertank to something more permanent.

I have electricity to the obs and would like them all to be powered from the mains.

Have you any advice on what the bit(s) in the middle need to be?

Regards

You really should be looking at a "regulated" power supply for the scope etc http://www.maplin.co.uk/13.8v-regulated-mains-power-units-231 This provides exactly 13.8v (the same as a fully charged "12v" battery!). You would be best getting the largest size 7A as even this is only rated at 5A for continuous use. The dew heaters will run from an unregulated supply if you wish as they are less critical over their supply.
