Could someone identify this mounting plate?

Hi, maybe a bit of a daft question but could someone tell me what the following is. I found it in my garage - I've clearly picked it up along the way but I haven't a clue what it is...

I hope I'll be able to attach SW rings to it but it looks too different to SW bars so I doubt I can. Which still leaves the question: what is it and what is it good for?

Oh ok, that's good news, I just need some rings to fit my OTA now. Thanks.

Looking at the pictures I thought the one shown at FLO had additional holes and, for some reason, I though the centre would be flat rather than angled inward as on the version I have. Glad to be wrong :-)

Looks like a SW as said. The rings are held by bolts that go down through the centre holes, with two small bolts put in from underneath to stabilise the ring in the outer two holes.

I have a couple of these. Just drill the bar to fit your rings.
