scope case

i have a 250px and making a storage box for it i have a kitchen company so materials isnt a problem and i have the skill but i would also like a soft carrier for it like a gun bag itype,i do not have the skiils to do this so was wondering what other people do and hat materials woud be best suited for it thanks sam

I'm not sure that there's much benefit in having a soft carrier. If I wanted to carry one without any significant external protection I'd probably just stick a couple of rings on it with a handle attached. Otherwise I'd make up a wooden box out of, say, 6mm ply with a hinged lid, padded supports for the scope and a set of handles on the outside.

i was thinking of the soft one for easier portability stick strap over shoulder and away i go and i gives it something to keep of ground etc weather protection but maybe im being ott thanks for the reply like the ring idea

If I was making a soft case I'd modify a sleeping bag - but I'm quite good with a sewing machine

i have roped my mother into doing the sewing for me yay!! i will design it (like its th Eiffel tower) she will build lol
