Hey all, had a few good observing sessions recently, however I want to travel to an area with dark skies (preferably better than Woking, where I currently observe)

and knows a good field/ open area with road access ( telescopes a bit weighty)

Scope I use is a Celestron Nexstar 8SE, with the celestron eyepiece kit.

Guildford Astronomical Society has a couple for dark sites that they use for their monthly observing sessions. You could give them a try.

Sounds good swampy, I am off on holiday for 2 weeks as of next week, but I will definatly take you up on that after I get back.
