Found it tonight. Managed to get 8mm EP with 2 No 2xbarlow lens stacked. Using a 200mmp on a EQ5 pro. Steady and great.

Spent a good half hour on it.

further investigation would say I couldn't have seen it ?? What did I see then ???

Maybe, I'm a bit confused here. I'm gonna try and find some photos that look like my views.

Ok I'm really getting mixed up. Okay I started with a 32mm ep and had a double. So I wanted to get a bit more gap and changed Ep. Now I started to see a small dark star in the middle. So I stuck a 2x barlow in. Ok this little star is there, so I push the scope as far as it would go with various EP's etc.

Best I could do was 2no 2x barlows and a 8mm EP. Main star just started to have the bright line things coming of it.

So if that was B what was the first 'Double' I viewed ?
