Sky survey on iPad

Ive bought quite a few apps for astronomy on both android and apple but tonight I've just bought a great app sky survey on iPad. It's different to the other apps I have in that it is very detailed photograph of the sky .. You can zoom in but not to the extent you can with stellarium, but this is a photo not a computerised image. I think it's brilliant in helping beginners like myself learn the constellations and a pointer to the various celestial objects. Well worth £1.95 of anyone's money .. Excellent app.

Gave it a try, superb. It's not meant to be a star catalogue like Stellarium or any of the others, but it is good at what it does. I agree with Steve £1.95 well spent.

Yes for the money you cant go wrong, helps when you are out observing and you need a bit of guidance around the night sky.

Its well worth it for a new guy to astronomy like me. I love it.
