Which Webcam Adapter?

Hi, I recently bought a Bresser Skylux 700x70 refractor (not the best I know but only 20 quid!) and I'm picking up a Philips toucam pro ii Webcam on Saturday. I've looked on many websites and only got more and more confused! Do I need a specific adapter to connect one to the other or is there a 'standard' size?

Not all webcams take the same type. I can't recall which is which at the moment. AFAIR there's one with a long thread and one with a short thread. I'll see if I can find some more info.

This is the correct nosepiece for the TouCam Pro II http://www.firstlightoptics.com/adaptors/125-low-profile-nosepiece-to-webcam-lens-thread-toucam-840k.html. The Adapter for the SPC900 will fit but was designed for the SPC900.

So the TouCam Pro needs the one I posted, but the TouCam Pro II needs the same one as the 840K?

Yes the sensor in the Pro III (SPC900) is more deeply set than normal webcams so it needs a longer reach adapter. Both would work with the Pro II (840K)
