How do I get the camera temperature in APT?

Not absolutely sure, but I think that you need one of these:

Alternatively try Backyardeos, which has a built-in temperature and humidity display facility.

APT can certainly be set to output sensor temp in the filename with a 450D, I'm not 100% it would still work with the 350D though as less is done over the USB with this camera, maybe check the online manual http://www.ideiki.com/astro/UserGuide.aspx. Im not at home atm so cant give the exact box where it is set, but it is somewhere in filename settings.
