How do I get the camera temperature in APT?

How do I read the camera temperature in APT? Can it be done on a canon 350D?

Not absolutely sure, but I think that you need one of these:

Alternatively try Backyardeos, which has a built-in temperature and humidity display facility.

Whoops, misread your post. I don't think that there is a facility for reading the camera sensor temperature in APT, but Backyardeos does give that information as a direct read-out.

APT can certainly be set to output sensor temp in the filename with a 450D, I'm not 100% it would still work with the 350D though as less is done over the USB with this camera, maybe check the online manual http://www.ideiki.com/astro/UserGuide.aspx. Im not at home atm so cant give the exact box where it is set, but it is somewhere in filename settings.

WIth my 450D APT also displays the temperature in the status window at the bottom left.

Only Digic III and later cameras has temperature sensor in them. 350D doesn't have such
