Yeah i did have a play with that but i ended up doing the same thing but with a less stretched version of the same shot. I found the star size difference between the lens and the scope version a bit odd to look at.

OK - I suppose it would be tricky & you'd have to mask the stars

& maybe set the opacity to 50%.
