NGC 7000 & M27...A return to AP

Howdy all at SGL,

Its been a long long time since I have produced any images or even visited the forum due to numerous technical issues and the aweful british summertime. However, on the 22nd of this month things changed as many of you noticed and no doubt enjoyed. Cygnus seemed to be in a damn fine position opening up the chance to go for some cracking DSO's so I settled on M27 and a closeup of the wall region of NGC 7000.

Same equipment was used on both objects:

Skywatcher Equinox 80ED

NEQ 6 Pro synscan

Atik 314L+ Colour

Orion Starshoot cam and Mini finder scope controlled with PHD

Images Stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop 7

NGC 7000 - 49x 150 second subs and 20 Darks

M27 - 52x 150 second subs and 20 Darks

Heres hoping for more clear skies ahead!

Thanks guys,

The spikes were added in photoshop so are not naturally occuring sadly. I didn't really want to add them in but the big stars were really suffering and "star spikes pro" helps to make them look sharper.

I now wish I had tackled ngc 7000 on the night of the dumbell as the sky was super clear and I was able to see the milky way in suburbia!
