Well, unless you have been on the moon lately, you will have noticed that things have changed slightly here at SGL.

We have created zones that are dedicated to their particular topics, so that members who are primarily interested in observing can chat with like-minded people - for example. As an Admin team, we are concious that imaging continues to be a popular topic, but we felt that perhaps too much emphasis was being placed on that aspect of the hobby, and we needed to redress that balance.

You will have also noticed that we have appointed more Moderators (they appear in red) and they will shortly be assigned their specific boards to look after - we'll make that announcement shortly.

As always, we rely on your feedback to tell us what you like and don't like, and the response we've had so far to the changes has been very positive - many thanks to everyone who has got in touch

And thanks to you, our members, for making SGL the popular place it is. August looks like we will break all our previous records for new members signing up, page views, new topics and posts made!! :cheers:

I should say thanks to Grant, Ant and Gaz who did the bulk of the behind-the-scenes work on Thursday, and got the forum back up when they said they would! Top job chaps!!!

yes all good Daz, amazing progress i think is being made by SGL.

You might not be aware of it but i would say the eyes of the astronomical world are on you. ;-)
