Mars re-process

Using some data captured earlier in the year to try to improve my processing skills... it's a slow process but hey there's nothing else to do with the more or less constant rain in the UK!

This was captured 29 February 2012, 11HD, CGEM DX, 2 x Ulitma barlow captured with QHY IMG0H.

Best 50% of 2500 frames aligned and stacked in AS2, wavelets in Registax 6 and a quick tweak in PhotoPlus 10.

Sorry for not being clear Rolo... 11HD = Celestron 1100 Edge HD SCT.

To be honest, it was not perfectly collimated for this run and the seeing wasn't great either... Plus I'm not very good at processing so there is much more to come from my set-up I hope!

I hope you don't object to a bit of tinkering with your image.......shapened the edges and played with the colour balance (which you may hate ) along with a slight increase in size.
