I use Al's reticule to align my cameras for rotation. Align the 1st camera to run parallel to the reticule line in RA (or DEC) then do the same for the other camera, I can get it to 1/2 a star width across the reticule line, which i find is close enough not to loose a great deal when aligning the 2 images.

Thanks for that, Martin. I am a great proponent of Al's Reticule as I use it for re-aligning from session to session or after a meridian flip but you are quite right, this would be an excellent use for it that I hadn't considered!
