Cocoon Nebula

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I was imaging the cocoon last night. This is a total of 10 x 10 minute exposures taken with my modded Canon 450d through my LX200. I happened to notice that around some of the stars there are red, blotchy haloes. Does anybody know what they are and how to process them out? All comments welcome.

Many thanks.

Dave

Nice image :) Not experienced enough to give clear advice - all I can think of is dew. The focus could be a bit out but that doesn't usually cause halos.
