Struggling to focus properly.

I was just wondering if anyone else is struggling to focus on stars at the moment? The last couple of nights I've tried all my eyepieces in 2 different scopes but can't quite get it focused.

Collimation is spot on in both as well.

Is this down to the heat?

I haven't really been having any problems, it may be due to heat though. It also may be the fact that it's not getting as dark as it does in the on the Winter Solstice, due to current proximity to Summer Solstice... less than a month now.

Thermal currents are a problem in this heatwave, even at night. Also there has been some thin high level cloud is some parts of the UK for the last few nights.

I was having trouble focusing as well at the start of my session. But about half an hour later it seemed to be fine. It was very humid last night, that could have caused it.
