Some old Lunar sketches

Guys,

Trawling through my laptop, sat on the ship, and thought I'd share a few old sketches I've attempted.

Nothing outstanding, but here they are anyway.

Very nice Eddie, are they done in graphite or pastel?

Tempted of trying a lunar sketch myself but will probably just copy from a photo and when sat indoors. Been looking at a couple tutorials and they make it look so easy!!

i love those. i dont think i'll attemt lunar sketching. just wont cope with the detail.

These are graphite pencils on white paper.

Going to start sketching once again when I get home. I stopped as tried to get into imaging. No great success.

WHEN you try sketching our neighbour, only select a small object to attempt. If you draw a large area, the detail will overwhelm you within minutes. Start with sketching from photos and then with what you at the scope. Its great fun.

If you take an hour or so to sketch, you notice the change in features as the sun moves. Shadows getting longer, or shorter.
