  1. Hi guys, just got my new camera out, and its not getting recognised by my laptop. Does anyone know of a site where I can download its driver free of charge. ? Looked around but everywhere asks for its winzip file to be opened. I have no CD driver on my new laptop, so I can't use the disc included in the package, Cheers for any input. Yours Eddie
  2. Yes I have Sharpcap 3.2 installed on my new laptop. Any idea whats going wrong ?? Any advice is more than welcome sat here dumb founded
  3. Hi peeps. Hoping you can help me out here. I tried using my camera last night on the moon, but it wont show up on my Sharpcap programme. just a time out box then it shuts down ?? Any idea or pointers would be more than appreciated, Cheers Eddie (very confused sat here) :-(

  7. me again, Me again, bought a new 925 celestron sct and neximage10. Downloaded the sharpcap, icap and amcap. None of them show any picture image Any advice more than welcome Eddie H

  9. Hi Guys, I'd like to buy one of the cameras for my new telescope. Alas, my laptop doesn't have a cd driver in it. Is there a website where I can down load the driver software.   11. I have two new scopes for sale. Both never used. Skywatcher 200mm f/5 Newtonian and a skywatcher 137 mm mak. Both driven on the sw HEQ 5 mount. I have a host of eyepieces and a beximage5 camera and extended usb lead. Asking for £600 collected from Hartlepool. Pm me if interested. Yours Eddie H.
  12. Hello peeps, Gave up trying to install the new ZWO 120MC onto my computer, gunna send it back and try the famed Neximager 5. Now doubt this will run on Win 10, but surely on win 8 with its USB. Hope to get things sorted for the darker nights in August/September. Anyone else with grief with the ZWO, or is it just me and my brother. ??? Cheers Eddie
  13. Just got my new 127 SW Mak and coloured ZWO ASI. After seeing these planetary images, I'm busting for a clear sky. Looks like Monday and Tuesday are looking good

  15. I believe there's a lunar eclipse on 4th April 15. Is it visible from the UK ? Cheers Eddie
  16. One thing to note. If your not using a tracking mount, and you use a small E/P. The image will fly across the FOV. Rule of thumb is the max of x50 per inch of aperture. And, these could only be optimised at times of excellent seeing. Orthoscopics are regarded as very good planetary eye pieces. Eddie H
  17. I think I'd better clear up my projection post. I used a pair of 15x70 binos, and projected onto my cabin bulkhead. Then used my mobile phone to take the image. Eddie
  18. I managed a poor Venus transit whilst in Poland 2012. camera phone projection onto my ships cabin bulkhead. Some AMAZING shots on this thread.... wow

  20. Eclipse from 3rd Nov 13. We where off the coast of Oman, so watched the event for around 20 minutes. Sadly it set it got a " bigger bite taken out. Canon 550D and 400mm f5.6 lens, unfiltered.
