PH047 Ultra Afocal Digital Camera Support

I am thinking of buying a PH047 Ultra Afocal Digital Camera Support:

It say's that scopes with a 1.25" eyepiece holder are compatable with the camera support and my scope has a 1.25" focuser diameter. Are the focuser diameter and the eyepiece holder ate same thing? The support clamps around the 1.25" barrel of the eyepiece so will work with any 1.25" eyepiece. Don't use the support with a heavy camera (dslr) because it is designed for use with compact cameras.

I have one. They seem like a good idea, but need an alun (sp?) key to adjust and you need to keep adjusting the parts to get your camera in a good position (ie: over the eye piece) and then to adjust the camera up/down (to get focus). By that time your scope has moved, or the shot you wanted has passed.

This video tells you how to set up a camera on a PH047 for minimum fiddling about when outside... Well it worked for me with a Lumix.
