I am getting to understand the 'tilting sun' software and checked your image to confirm my understanding. Thanks again for the information.

Do I assume that you photos are taken in RAW then stacked in Registax?

Actually I take in JPEG and stack them - RAW causes all sorts of problems when trying to stack in Registax. I know JPEG is "wrong" but it works! I believe in "If it ain't broke don't fix it!!"

I use jpg with Registax too.

I assume you mean the longitude and latutude grid? I use a piece of software (free) called "Tilting Sun" - Google to find it. It is really quite neat! (And I have to admit I seldom remember to reference it properly .
