got a glance at 1476 yesterday, so big and looked like it was getting bigger.

would love to know how you get so much grain and other details. my shots are a plain disc , and hardly no grain or detail like you capture.

Just a regular ED120APO (or sometimes my Evostar120mm Achromat - the resulting pictures are indistinguishable from one another) with Baader film. I always take my time over focussing and make sure that the exposure is a bit "under" rather than "over" done (if you see what I mean). I do sharpen using wavelets in Registax and a tweak more in Photoshop - but this only works if the original focussing is right. Hope this helps.
