Having another try at radio meteor detection

I reckon got several hits early this morning and a few this afternoon

the question is is it possible to get Spectrum Lab(or anything else I need) to "ping" when it detects a hit?

Define what do you want it to do exactly? The meteor itself makes the ping sound!

I use a script in Spectrum Lab to count the pings and create a text file that Colorgram can understand. Check out rmob.org if you havnt already.

Thats what I'm trying to get it to do

On my system all I get is an increase in the hiss

no ping
