Collimating Screw Size

Recommended Posts

Could just measure them i guess, but that'd mean taking them out etc and i'm lazy... Maybe a job for a cloudy night. Generally, when screws are metric, the width of the widest part of the thread will give the M number. Eg. a screw that's 4mm wide edge to edge on the thread will be M4.

I know the grubs on the secondary are M4, so i'd imagine those are the same on the primary, will just have to check the collimation screws.
