Hi All

TBH I think the current phase of the moon is going to rule out much observing this week.

My forecast isn't showing any favourable weather conditions either.

If it does give us a window of opportunity if anyones up for it, stick a post on.

Makes a nice change for a forecasted week of cloud during full moon!

If it does clear during the week I might be up for a couple of hours looking at the moon and planets.

It's full moon on Friday too but they do leave early before 9.30 on mass with headlights on full.

Just seen they charge £12 per telescope!?!

I think that £12 is for the newbies nights. This says something about "observe with the experts" doesn't mention a charge, but it will go on until 10.

So it may be busy up there.

Might go along and learn something.

Got my moon filter now, was hoping to look at the full moon without getting arc eye

Normally I'd say that yes. Around a full moon you've gotta expect clear skies, but a moon filter eh:rolleyes: that changes everything......clouds and more clouds is my prediction:)

There was no charge for the newbies night. Not sure what the £12 will be for?

Um Yes i managed a little look before this recent blanket covering and was pretty impressed, certainly took the shocking brightness away, looking forward to having a longer spell using it.

The eyepiece hasn`t arrived yet, lots of problems aparently getting stock, seems this looking at the sky lark is getting a lot more popular.
