Solar shots 23 March

Phew! 24 panes for the disc and 15 for the proms. PSTDS and spc900 b/w as usual.

ST102 and Lunt B600. 6 panels. spc900 b/w. There was quite a bit of turbulence due to sea mist which has affected the image quality. This is less noticeable in Ha of course.

These were from the 22nd when seeing was better. With the Revelation 2.5x barlow:

No problems with the CaK module on a 102mm scope then? It's outside the recommended 100mm range, if only slightly.

Thanks again. No hunter, no problems with the 102mm - I don't think the extra 2mm is significant. The Lunt works really well on that scope; there is no vignetting and no need of the flats which I believe can be a probem with other combinations. It is indeed a lot of work, not so much the capture, but the processing. But like you say it produces a nice result in the end.
